No, it's not the rivalry factor. When the SF Giants 1st came to the Bay Area, the A's were already established there with a rich generous owner who GAVE freely the richer area(which he didn't know then but which would later be rich silicon valley along with prosperous San Francisco) to the Giants so that the Giants could establish themselves in the Bay Area, but now, the Giants refuse to give any part back to the A's (for obvious reasons because most of their prosperous fans come from the Silicon valley region - San Jose.)

I'm confused by this statement. The Giants came to the Bay Area before the A's did. The whole territorial rights thing you're referencing happened in the early 90's and it had to do with a new stadium for the Giants.
