Lack of timely hitting is the biggest problem...I think at one time the Mariners were 3-47 with runners in scoring position. Being struck out 51 times in 5 games and having the lowest team batting average in baseball.

After the first pitch in Texas...the old banner went up in Safeco field....'wait until next year'

Nice win in front of a home crowd today at chilly Safeco. Perhaps a turn of the tide...

I know you don't want to hear it but It's WAY to early. You started a similar thread last year right around the same time right? I know they didn't make the playoffs last year but they finished above .500 and were 2nd in the AL West. Not too shabby. Just hang in there and enjoy the games/season. Just got tickets to the Mariners Red Sox game. Can't wait.

Yeah, maybe I did. But only out of love. And passion. So be it. I wouldn't expend so much energy unless I really cared about this team. You have to understand that I was there at the beginning in '77 at the Kingdome. Brought my dad to the media suite. Have watched every season with hope, but also am not shy to discuss failures. I think there needs to be more, not less, critical opinions of our team. So, yes, call me out on not being a rah-rah fan. I'm ok with that. I expect greatness. If some will just sit back and let them slide, don't count me in as one of those.

Not calling you out, just pointing out that there are 154 games left. But you are a real fan, so panic and tear them down. It's all good. Enjoy the season

Cool. Thanks for your understanding of my passion. I will try to just sit back and enjoy. But it won't last!

It's early. sorry.

We are relocating from an abysmal team and worse front office. Any tips on good seats, best tickets and day vs night games in the Emerald City?
