This is a nice story about a Pearl Harbor Veteran who went to the World Series game in 1945, and his granddaughter has started a gofundme page to try and buy him a ticket to attend one of the 2016 games.

Pearl Harbor vet who went to 1945 World Series hoping for tickets in 2016 | WGN-TV

Tickets in 1945 were $1.20.

They're not going to get much done when the whole top of the order goes 0 for the game. If nothing else though at least it looks like some of these guys can get to Miller, so there's that.

Also time to recognize the obvious that Rondon isn't the same since he got back from the DL.

you mean "he gave up a no-hitter and allowed a single run over 5-2/3rds innings" then yes you are correct. Everyone else would consider that a very impressive outing against a World Series contender.

I was worried they'd raise the money and not be able to get a ticket, but Marcus Lemonis from the show, The Profit, has gifted him with front row tickets.
