If they were, the list would be incomplete without Rusty Kuntz, Pete LaCock and Johnny Dickshot.

Those definitely work. I just read that Johnny Dickshot's nickname was "Ugly" Johnny Dickshot. That takes some balls to call yourself that. I suppose people just called him Ugly for short. There's an SNL skit somewhere in all this.

John Oscar Dickshot commonly known as "Ugly" Johnny Dickshot (born John Oscar Dicksus,[1] January 24, 1910 – November 4, 1997) was a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1936 to 1938, the New York Giants in 1939, and the Chicago White Sox from 1944 to 1945. He won the nickname "Ugly" because of his self-proclaimed status as the "ugliest man in baseball".

Most people don't mention it and quietly go to a clinic to get it taken care of...

First sentence of referenced Wikipedia entry:

"William Oliver Ripken (born December 16, 1964), nicknamed Billy The Kid,"

I never heard him referred to as "Billy the Kid". It was either just Bill, Billy, or the name he acquired from that baseball card.
