Madison Bumgarner
The pitcher/hitter for the Giants

I may be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure that I'm not, but I seem to recall a few incidents of Bumgarner jawing at hitters for all manner of perceived slights.

Unrelated:
Puig batflips on a no-pitch intentional walk.

I'm surprised he didn't get hurt after that collision at home plate.

The Dodgers beat the Padres 14-3 behind Clayton Kershaw today. A rookie pitcher named Miguel Diaz, 22 year old Dominican, was brought in to pitch the sixth and he got all three Dodgers out. He got the first batter he faced in the 7th, and then was removed.

At this point the score was 12-1 in LA's favor, but the announcers, I didn't catch who they were, went into this Pollyanna blather about how Diaz making his debut and getting out all four batters he faced, was a big positive that the other Padre players could rally around to keep up their morale despite how badly they were getting creamed. This is what they can take from the game, one of them said. Yup, the other agreed, when the Padres remembered this game they could focus on Diaz's performance and blah blah mumbo jumbo.

I guess it is difficult to fill the airways with chatter when the game is a blowout from the start, but geez.
