Won last night 3-1 over Philly. The pitching is holding up and Hawkins now has 5 saves.

Interesting call on Arenado at the plate. A lot of people don't like the rule. I am fine with the rule since they are trying to cut down on collisions at the plate. I honestly did not have a problem with collisions at the plate, but if they are going to protect catchers they have to come up with something to ensure a runner has a fair shot, otherwise catchers can block the plate with impunity. If they decide the collisions are okay, they need to scrap that rule.

The Rox are 10-9 as of today and I believe it is the first time all season they've been over .500.

We won 2 of 3 against the Phillies this weekend and almost won today but we lost 10-9 with 2 errors allowing 2 unearned runs and a bullpen that gave up 5 runs. Rockies are now 10-10 and have the second place 11-8 Giants coming in for 3 starting tomorrow night.

I'm surprised to see Rockies fans in any place other than Colorado.

Me? I became a Rockies fan when I lived in Denver when the Rox were born. I loved them Blake Street Bombers of Castilla, Galarragga (sp?), Bichette, and Walker.

Same here. I am from Colorado, I'm just currently living in Virginia. My wife and I sometimes talk about going back eventually but it will be a while if it ever happens at all. I am a huge Rockies fan, Broncos fan, and Buffs fan. I graduated from CU.

Rox over Giants, 8-2 last night. Not too shabby. Two more with the Giants and then the hated Dodgers come to town. The Rox can go a long way toward temporarily erasing my skepticism with good showings against the Giants and Dodgers this week. So far, so good!

The Rox have played so pitifully against the Giants and the Dodgers in the past that every win against them is a big plus.

Aint that the truth? Wins against the Giants and Dodgers always seem to be the most satisfying.

I saw someone on Instagram (i'm "llowllevellowll" in case anyone likes IG) post a photo of Coors tonight. I had no idea they remodeled the upper deck in right field to remove a ton of seats and put in The Rooftop. I googled around and found information on the project along with photos. I have to say it's fantastic. Taking seldom-purchased seats and making it a place to go is fantastic. What is the general opinion of Rockies fans?

The Rox edged the Giants 2-1 tonight and secured a series win against their rivals. That's 4-1 on the homestand so far. The Rox made it interesting in the T9 but came through to close it out. Good work, Rockies!
