Among all the things Pete Rose has bragged about, he neglects to mention that he made more outs than any player in ML history.

The primary setup of baseball rules should be sufficient to educate people on the value of avoiding outs. It is a 4 to 3 ratio, with four bases required to produce the object of an offense...a run, while only three outs are required to prevent a run from scoring. Outs are worth more than bases.

I've been mainly following AL teams so don't get much of a chance to watch Votto. Didn't realize he was such an odd ball.
