Strange as it may seem, I can't track down a NY Yankee team thread. Well----after their series win over the Cleveland Indians, here it is.

Down two to nothing to the Indians in this best of 5, you have to give this club credit.

Absolutely, Double H...I kinda think their tank went empty after that 22-game win streak, and their pitching staff got hammered

Yanks knew exactly how to pitch and defend the Indians in the last three games...LOL, been here before (see under numerous other Cleveland sports disappointments, which I won't list here), gonna put the Tribe hat away in the closet, see if the Browns can actually win a game, and be glad the Cavs' season starts on the 17th

I wish the Yanks luck against the Astros---those cats are no joke

Yay, finally an official thread!! I could never find one either, I think because most baseball fans hate the Yanks for understandable reasons. I too would have hated them if I didn't have New York roots, especially those stacked teams. But this particular team is so fun!! I love the Baby Bombers and no matter what happens against the Astros, I'm happy with this season. Now Girardi's game 2 blunder is kind of avenged.

As a Dodgers fan..I'll say that the future is very bright for the Yankees. Even if they had lost this series. Lots of young talent & the financial ability to get a couple good free agents. i.e. Machado

Gary Sanchez kind've reminds me of Jorge Posada all over again. Didi Gregorious seemingly has picked up where Jeter has left off. Even Boston Area sportscaster s hates to love/loves to hate/has (man)crushes on Aaron Judge. And who misses Robbie Cano Doncha know (who?) with Starlin Castro? I also love Chapman even though I'll always have respect for Mariano.

I too have noticed the lack of a Yankees thread on C-D. If not for Double H, they would have been the only one of the four playoff teams in 2017 without one.

How odd there's no Yankees thread. Anyhow, as a Dodgers fan I'm pulling for the Yankees as Dodgers/Yankees would be very cool.

Heartbreaking loss tonight. Hats off to Verlander's pitching performance, you can't really get mad at that. That was just impressive
