I was at Saturday's Yankee game vs the White Sox. The sox played terrible...3 errors and 1 hitter by Yankee SP Sergio Mitre who's not the greatest.

This one is a hard one to predict, but I'll go with Detroit. Considering the struggles the Tigers previously have had after a recent bout with success, the division title is destined to be their just reward for staying the course this season in a subpar division. Sorry, White Sox fans.

White Sox are done. Twins have a better shot of catching Detroit than Chitown does but at this point it doesnt appear either team will.

Twins and Tigers have 7 games remaining with each other and the Twins appear to have a slightly easier schedule tho not as many home games.

Tigers are peaking at the right time. Not saying they're World Series bound yet, but we have the pitching to compete, especially in a 5 game series. We don't play well against Boston or the Yanks, but if we get Anaheim we might have a chance for the ALCS. That said, there's still 12 to play against the White Sox and Twins, so the division certainly isn't a lock just yet. Feeling a lot better about it than I was a couple weeks back, though....

I think Detroit's going to hold on. But if anyone's going to catch Detroit, it would likely be the Twins. Morneau has to heat up and Mauer has to stay hot, then it might happen.

As for the Sox, they've been struggling to stay at .500 for a long time. I just can't see them going on a tear and taking it. There's potential there for next year, though.
