I see them all the time here in NJ. Or hear the 27 rings.

That, and their smug attitude from George Steinbrenner on down. It's very satisfying to see them struggling with the worst record in the American league this year.

^^^^^ As a fellow Bay Area native (who is also an A's fan, and who also hates the Yankees), except for the Mariners fan part, I couldn't have said that better myself.

I do though, have to give Yankees fans credit for being enthusiastic.

After I go to a Rangers game later this month, I'll be back to having seen a game in every park in the majors. I've never felt the energy I've experienced at games at the 'New' (in 2009) Yankee Stadium replicated anywhere else (my house is 30 miles, give or take a few, from Minute Maid Park in Houston).

What does the rest of the MLB fanbase think of the Yankees?

I think the Yankees are still looking up to the Tampa Bay RAYS! Rays just clinched the AL East again..bakc to back.

I love that the Rays beat the Yankees again while payingless than 1/2 the payroll.

I love how every Rays minor league team is in the playoffs, and the Yankeess minor league teams are not.

The Rays are building a dynasty.

I hope the area doesn't lose the Rays to Montreal.

I may move to the TB area at some point and, baseball lover that I am, I want the Rays to still be there.

I have nothing against the Yankees players, but I do not think the owner should be able to spend 4x what other owners spend just because they happen to be located in a huge city. I think MLB is losing fans because the small markets can't keep up...most of the time. It gets boring when the big spenders win so much of the time.

I think the Yankees front office is one of the worst in MLB (Mets take the cake) because their wins-per-dollar-spent has got to be the worst in baseball....after the Mets.

The Yankees are hanging on trying to get the last wildcard spot. The Rays just waxed the Yanks 12-2, & outhit the "Bronx Bombers" 18-4! Eaking out a wildcard spot for a team that spends so much on payroll, is weak at best.

If the Yanks do not at least make it into the ALCS, it will be a massive failure by the front office.
