Shelby Miller is beyond due for a win! The Mets bullpen is in shambles after the nuclear disaster on Sunday night, Niese is starting who shouldn't get much length (5 or 6 innings at most), score some runs and play good defense behind him!

Miller battled, and I suspect he'll win one of his remaining starts, but Niese simply outpitched him. Bullpen finished off for him spotlessly.

Miller has pitched well this season to earn respect. His lost decisions are products of lack of run production and an unreliable bullpen. It would be nice to see him finish the season with a winning decision.

Default Game #151 (2015-09-21, 19:10): Mets 4, Braves 0

Twenty-three and counting, Shelby Miller's streak continues. The Braves lacked run production in the 4-0 loss to the Mets.

Shelby Miller (5-16) gave up six hits, allowed two earned runs including a home run, gave up four bases on balls, and completed three strikeouts in six innings. Andrew McKirihan did worse allowing two earned runs on three hits to start the seventh inning before being pulled.
