it sucks that Chipper might be retiring but he is slowing down, I remember him from his first few years, the Braves were always on TBS so I got to see alot of Chipper, I got to see him hit a homerun last year when I saw the Braves play the Nationals at Turner field in Atlanta, but another great ballplayer from my time will be gone, just like Griffey.

ATL won today, 8-5 over the Royals and took the series 3/3. The Bravos gained a game on the division (except for the Marlins) and have NY by 2.5 (and counting) and Philly by 5.5 games. On to the White Sox now.

Good day in the A-town indeed!
First day of summer, Braves have won 5 in a row, and Jair is about to come back off of his rehab starts. The sooner he comes back the sooner they can put that bum Kwikami in the bullpen.

I would usually say that you are about to run into a buzzsaw on the southside as the Sox have really heated up, but the braves are hot in their own right. Should be interesting

I really want to see how we stack up against y'all. The Bravos are 7-2 against the AL but we did play the best team on NL ground and K.C. is K.C. That leaves MN but I need more proof (are we here to stay?). I haven't even looked yet but it should be Hanson, Hudson, & Lowe for Atlanta. What's Chicago's rotation?

You guys actually got to Danks early tonight, who had only let up more then 2 runs in like 25% of his starts this year, so I was impressed the Braves got on him early. That second inning killed you guys, Hanson could not get anything outside of his fastball over the plate, and that wasn't really working too well.

Yeah, Hanson's lack on movement on his fastball could be his downfall. If he's throwing his curve in the strike zone along with his heater he's great. That thing drops like it's hot.

well, the game ended with a man on 2nd, Prado batting, Heyward getting ready to come up...down by three runs too. To bad Prado didn't get a hit but at least they didn't fold. I think Hudson can lead us in the "bounce back" campaign. When does Jair return?
