7 errors in 14 innings? The Braves have been outscored 19 to 6 in five games, WTF. Melky is hitting .153 now four years ago he was a .280 hitter. I really thought he'd be better than this because he faced better pitching (in my opinion). Now Chipper Jones, put him on the DL, bench, or even DFA him (I don't care), put Glause at 3rd and have Hinske play 1st. The pitching is Major League but the defense is playing at an AA level.

Unfortunately, Chipper Jones is just one more example of the hometown favorite, long past his prime, who's kept around for reasons that have to do more with nostalgia than present performance.

Unfortunately, I can't help but to agree. Chipper's sort of like what Brett Favre was when he was in Green Bay, the "all-American country boy" who loves the outdoors... I guess he's marketable to the outdoorsmen of the South.

This season looks like a rough one for the Bravos,They don't have the hitting to be a winner this season. It doesn't help that Chipper Jones is looking his age,I think He's gone after this season.

The Braves failed to lose ten in a row and messed around and beat the Astros 4-2.

I'm glad that the Braves won 10-1 over Houston but I do have some concerns. 1) I saw the recap of the Braves game (very busy today, missed the game) and Glaus had a good game but his bat speed isn't there, maybe he's turning it around. 2) Chipper Jones is too injury prone and he's a big piece to this success 3) This team has no speed and some sure doubles end up being a single and Yunel hits into a double play when Glaus' should've been at second but he's to slow to make it to second after hitting the ball into the corners 5) The Braves hardly steal bases (not fast enough I guess) 6) I notice that when Heyward slumps, this whole team slumps. 7) Melky Cabrera is hitting .195 (Tim Lincecum's hitting .250) so he's been disappointing to the third degree.

I just have the bad play fresh on my mind but it's better to lose 9 straight in April instead of September/October (they could have still done better though).

Hopefully the Braves can complete the sweep of Houston today.
