The killer came in the bottom of the 9th. Lead-off batter Taveras walked. I turned to the wife, once again, and said "This is big trouble." Two batters later, Corey Seager launched a HR that scored two runs to tie the game at 5. If D-Backs ace closer Sewald hadn't walked Taveras, then Seager's HR would've been just a solo shot and the game would've ended 5-4 D-Backs at the end of of nine innings.

Walks kill you. THREE runs scored by TX were walks. I'll bet the D-Backs are talking today about walks.

After you posted the above, the TV announcers brought the subject up and showed a graphic....that there were 20 base runners overall last night and 10 were walks.

Over the 7 years in a row of ALCS appearances for the Astros, the name of each of the three teams they lost to in the ALCS starts with an R.

D-Backs were rolling tonight, 9-1 over Texas.

Monday night is going to be a problem, WS game 3 vs MNF.

For me it is not even close. Raiders/Lions or Rangers/Diamondbacks; the baseball game would win every time.

Someone on another thread said the Rangers celebrated Fri after winning game 1 like they had won the Series and it would come back to bite them
And that was an accurate prediction…

My prediction is this. The bombs from Texas goes dry rest of the series and AZ wins the series. The law of averages always catches up with home runs. I am rooting for Texas so I hope my guess is wrong.

That's ridiculous. Show me a team that doesn't celebrate a walk off win in any game.

D-Backs lost tonight, 11-7, putting them on the bubble, down 3-1.

The 2023 MLB season could end tomorrow night if the Rangers wins.

Exactly! You'll see the same thing in April.
