Yeah,Yankees ended the Phillies winning streak today! I knew they were going down when McCarver pointed out that the pitching coach claimed Lidge looks better this year even though his stats couldn't back it up.

Hi Lancet71...I'm new to CD and meant no disrespect. I saw so many Phillies fans in the stands and I just wanted to know what it was like watching a game in the new Yankee Stadium! I guess I'll have to settle for 2/3! The new stadium looks great!

Yeah I'm worried about Lidge. I wonder if it's mental or mechanical problems he's having, or if he is injured more than he let's on. I think RM could step into the closer spot.

He could but the first thing i'd do is get an MRI on Lidge and if that turns up okay then i'd check tapes of his mechanics from 2008 to see if there is a difference.He just looks very inconsistent from game to game.
