I see it as a non issue. It will make for some good gossip in the local press, but won't impact the assembly of the team. Joe Torre is used to working in tense environments, he'll just shrug it off.

Joe Torre has little to do with assembly of the team. That goes to Colletti. Colletti has to work within a budget. That budget has a good chance of being F'd considering they are fighting over ownership of the team.

Probably the payroll won't change much from last year. The Dodgers are a pretty stable franchise. But a divorce pretty much wrecked the Padres

Is a bankruptcy a year going to be about par for the course for MLB now?
