That may have been true 10 years ago, but his globe trotting reached an apex while MJ was still ruling - and Stern used him as an ambassador.

(And a pretty good ambassador at that.)

Guess DIRK is not longer a failure in many peoples eyes.

He just WON a championship so the Dirk haters can now shut up.


Now, is Lebron the biggest failure of all time since he cannot BUY a championship?

I interpret this response as a similar response to what one would say about the title of this thread. Both are unacceptable-period.

I'm so glad Dirk, Kidd, and Terry, all 32+, got their championships tonight. I don't even care what happens next season. I'm just glad Dallas won at least once.
