my spurs took a huge hit last night, manu broke his hand swiping for a steal and is out MINIMUM 4 weeks and likely 6-8 from what i read. not a good start to 2012

Yeah, that hurts.
Bulls decided to win by 40 in their home opener, even though Z-Bo was hurt it was still a good showing. I'm excited to see them vs ATL tonight, who is fresh off beating Miami. Should be a good test for both teams.
Wow. Just when I'm wondering WTH is up with Dallas they put a quality win down against the Thunder.
mark cuban says this team is MUCH better (not "better" but "much better") then last years team. he is also pissed because the league does not have them playing the wiz so he had to fork out the money to fly the mavs to DC to meet obummer.
Yep, I was saying a few weeks back that I think the Bulls could have picked him for dirt cheap, IF( always IF with him now) he can remain healthy he could have provided the same scoring punch as Rip Hamilton, and a second back-up playmaker( which Rip is not).

I'd take Rip over T-mac any day at this point. To me its a questions of brief explosions of brilliance vs consistent quality play. Rip brings way more to the table.

To me the sum of a healthy Tmac's game is greater than Rip's. The big question with Tmac is always health. Neither player is being counted on as a savior or primary focus of their team, but I like that Tmac can make plays for others. Rose remains the team's lone offensive creator.
I'm also considering production/cost in the equation. Tmac is getting the veteran's minimum...how much is Rip getting? Who's the greater value? It's still a very short sample of games, but Tmac's production isn't far off from Rip's, in less minutes.
As always, we'll see how the season progresses....for all we know in 30 games Tmac could either be on the injured list for the season, or a candidate for 6th man. All still very early.....

I'm happy with Rip. McGrady would have been good too.
Let's face it, you have to build the team to beat the Miami Heat and I like the idea of having Rip around to help with Wade.
Clearly no right answer.
