You guys agree with these?

#NBArank -- Players rankings chart - ESPN

Kobe #7?
Rondo #17?

There are others but some of these seem um.....interesting.

Well, that depends on the person.

Personally, I think Kobe should be top 5 still and Rondo at #17 is a joke.
I was probably more shocked that ESPN didn't have Kobe higher up.

Just wondering what others think about the list in general.

P.S. Bynum? Seriously?

I disagree with a lot of them

D Wade #3 (is ranked too high)
Chris Paul #4 (is ranked too high)
Durant #6 (is ranked too low)
D Rose #7 (is ranked too low
D Will #9 (ranked too high)
Rondo #17 (is ranked too high, shouldnt be in the top 25)

I love Noah, but I don't see how he can be ranked 29, when he has a limited offensive game still.

I like the fact that 4 of the 5 bulls starters are in the top 50, but I don't know if I would agree.

Interesting list tho

I'll have to evaluate it further. Just off the top of my head, I agree Rondo at 17 is nuts. As for Kobe at 7, hmmm.....well if you're going off the theory 'you're as good as your last game', it's hard to argue that he's better than Lebron, Wade, Howard, Durant, or Dirk at this stage. Then again, applying that same theory, that knocks Lebron way down the list.

Seriously, at best he could be knocking at number 5, though slots 4-7 are fairly interchangeable and there's not much that separates them. The top 3 are spot on, though I think I would take Dwight first if we were doing a draft right now. And well, people will call me nuts, but in a winner take all game 7 I'd take Wade too.

Hey how about them Clippers? That Griffin/Jordan frontcourt is sure bringing the house down, with Paul performing his Wizardry. I know it's pre-season, but the Clippers are certainly keeping at least one of the L.A teams relevant.

Blake Griffin #10 - Are you serious? Based on one year!!!!!
Pau Gasol #11 - He is not better than Carmelo Anthony!
Kevin Love #16 - This guy is a baller, but he plays no defense, he should be lower.
Kevin Garnett #22 - He is not CURRENTLY better than LaMarcus Aldridge. That's ridiculous
Andrew Bynum #30 - Too high, injury proned

I honestly don't think Wade is better than Kobe right now....or Dirk for that matter.

I too would rank Howard #1 and Lebron #2 and then I would say you have a knot of guys that is splitting hairs.

Can't agree with that one, Math. Particularly not at this stage of Kobe's career. Wade's the more efficient scorer, the more impactful defender. Kobe is Kobe, but the last time he had any kind of argument over Wade was around 2009. The thing is, Kobe at his healthy best is still as dangerous as they come, but he's past the point where he can do it consistently over 82 games.

In all seriousness, all of the top 6-7 guys have points where they look like the best in the league. There's more parity at the top in this era, whereas in the Jordan era for example, it was more or less Jordan and then everyone else.
