until manu broke his arm, tim jacked up his ankle, yes they where the best team in the league.

Injuries happen i mean you cant expect the player too go hard and not get hurt people.

Fast forward 2 months and the Lakers played better and managed to put some distance between themselves and the playoff bubble.

We shall see if they can make some noise in the playoffs, they are certainly playing a lot better than that team in February that looked like a non-playoff team.

They still have an a lot of holes, we will have to wait and see how they do and depending on that whether there will be offseason moves (Pau).

In fairness, the Lakers still have no bench....and frankly are a good....but not great team.

They *might* be able to cause an upset but I cannot see them getting far in the playoffs with zero bench.

However, in light of the thread here....they are surely playing better than the Lakers team of 2 months ago....so I tip my hat to them.
