He plays with 2 all-star big men... and former Defensive Player of the Year!
I think Kobe is just one of those guys who doesn't make the people around better by adjusting his game a la... Magic & Jordan.
He plays the same way no matter who he plays with...
There's no way that the Lakers have a championship team dude.
No he doesn't. When they won the 2 championships a few seasons ago, Kobe played differently because he had better players other than Gasol and Bynum to play with.

I didnt say they did... dude!

He didnt play differently... They just won, which covered up the way he is playing now.
Plus Phil Jackson is much better coach. Outside of being older and not having Odom, the team is constructed the same.
Check this stat out tonight from game 2 .....Lakers gave up a 1st round pick for this dude....seriously
Sessions: 24 mins 2 pts, 0 asst, 1 to
Fisher: 15 mins, 3pts , 1 asst, 0 to
Well, many of us were ripping this thread up earlier over claims he was some sort of missing piece. In fairness they really need him to just be able to at least marginally keep up with guys like Westbrook, Parker etc. whom they knew would be waiting for them in the playoffs. The west playoffs are chock-full of excellent PG's with CP3 as well.
I would make a few comments:
1) He played better than in game 1.
2) The 1st round draft pick was given so they'd take Walton as much as give Sessions.
Make no mistake, unloading Walton and Fisher were done with free agency in mind. The Lakers will make some moves if they get clobbered here in the 2nd round....gasol in particular.
Play around with this shot chart and look where Durant and Westbrook were getting thier shots from, especially in the 4th quarter. Paint, paint, paint.....Kobe
^^^Funny how history repeated itself when they met in the playoffs.
Looking back on the Sessions deal, it seems like a pretty good move by the Lakers management.
They basically used a 1st round pick to unload walton and rent Sessions for a year creating cap space.
All of that was done looking at CP3, Dwight etc. and it panned out for them.
