Mediocre I don't think is right. They are better, and while not contenders nobody wants to face them in the 1st or 2nd rounds. They could squeak out a 1st round upset and I would not be surprised. That said I think they are much like Boston in that nobody wants them because they know it's not an easy out but a drawn out series most likely. Melo may blow up for 50+ in a game or 2 if amare is back healthy. He also may come down to earth. There is no telling with them, maybe the toughest team to read in the league.

I wouldn't be surprised. If the schedule was a regular schedule and not a condensed schedule, I wouldn't give the Bulls nearly the shot that I do.

This season's schedule overly rewards the Bulls' depth. A fresher team of workable parts may be able to take out a team with tired superstars.
