Why was he even in the game at that time. The game was in a bag at that time. Yes my Bulls can still win, but it would be a long shot. Without Rose this team reminds me of the 2004 Detroit Pistons and Miami reminds me of the 2004 Lakers.
oh yeah? banned? well that sucks i was looking forward to telling him all about it when the bulls still kill his 76ers with no rose
You should see some of the things he posts in that forum...unreal, weird, and funny too...lol
As far as Rose, that really sucks. You want to see a superstar play. Hopefully, he can make a full recovery and be ready for next season. The Bulls should still make it past the 76ers though. It is against the Celts/Hawks where they will have problems. I have to wonder about the jump hop move. That might be a move that he abandons for the rest of his career.
Bulls are definitely out. They might compete hard, but they're done in terms of winning a title. They were an underdog against the Heat even with Rose, and now that he's gone, the Heat have to be considered an overwhelming favorite. I would also not count on Chicago getting past Boston, either. Boston's a physical team that can wear down the Bulls. Maybe next year.
Personally, I think Chicago needs a big scorer inside to take the pressure off of Rose. He has to do too much and that's never good with a 6'3" point guard who cuts and moves the way Rose does.
Sorry on my previous post I had the incorrect stat on the Bulls without Rose-----they were 18-9 without him, not 32-7 as I noted.
His loss is devastating-----they will be at a severe disadvantage against Miami without him. I agree the Bulls may have a hard time against Boston or Atlanta if Horford returns.
Yet as I pointed out before, they are a deep team, and they have savvy veterans. They are well coached and have good chemistry------dont bury the Bulls yet.
I dont blame Thibodeaux for the injury------its his job to win games and he saw a 20 point lead evaporate quickly, so he left Rose in. Rose has had a ton of injuries this year, and the packed NBA schedule this year due to the labor strife could have contributed to his body breaking down.
