But I think the thing that rubbed me the wrong way, was this idea that he Wade, and Bosh were simply going to strong hold the league with multiple championships simply based on their indvidual talents coming toghether without taking anything else into account. And now he is learning the hard way. If he loses this series, he is going to have to take an extra BIG slice of that humble pie with an extra large glass of milk to go with it.

As far as I'm concerned, he has proved his doubters wrong already. I know the series isn't close to over but he has been absolutely awesome. He had many chances to choke away the game last night and he came up big. And I HATE Lebron and I killed him last year.

Unless he completely disappears in the rest of the series, we can no longer say he is not a clutch player.

Yeah. He has been beasting in the finals so far and of course he closed out the Celts series with a vengence including a blistering assault in the closing minutes of game 7 where he turned a 3 pt deficit into a 7pt lead.

LeBron James 2011-12 Game Log | Basketball-Reference.com

A quick look at the numbers:

-Lowest pt total since beginning of ECF (9 games) is 29.
-So far in the finals he is averaging 31-8.5-4.5 shooting 46% and 90% from the FT line.
-2.5 steals and only 3 TO's.

Much much better than last years finals.

He's rubbed alot of people wrong including me. But I got to give Lebron his props. Against all the nay sayers and what not, he is playing good. That's an understatement. He is carrying the Heat this year with his play.

Know matter how these finals go, I will give Lebron his props for proving many of us wrong. No matter who wins. The guy has taken alot of slack and alot of it rightfully so.

Having said all that, you have to give a guy his dues as well. The truth can't be stubborn. It's only been two games, but throughout it all Lebron has been clutch and has played hard. And this is just being honestly objective. There is still five more games or potentially five more games to go.

I agree 100%.

I will always cringe over his various acts of hubris over the years but I can separate my general dislike for the guys actions off the court from the on the court actions.

I am impressed that he seems to have figured out his short comings and worked on them....which is what most of the greats have done.

Well said and really puts perspective to those of us that have been labeled haters. I will always give props where props are due, he has been very good so far.

Lebron sure looks like he does not want a repeat of last years finals.

Ok city is tough----they are a young, athletic, and very quick team-----this series is going to be a barnburner.

As for Lebron it sure looks like he wants the weight off his shoulders-----this man is doing all he can to help his team get the ring. I didnt like the way he left Cleveland-----but thats ancient history, and now I hope he gets to show his ring to all his detractors.

That's the 3rd game in a row that Lebron has kicked arse in the finals. Gotta give him props.

Wade had a rough shooting night but Harden even moreso.
