i still remember when that idiot marc jackson said Dirk was better than Larry. this was years before the mavs won the title. he sat there and said DIRK was better than Bird.

Larry Birds jersey is one of the few if not only white guys jersey that you can wear in the ghetto and NOT get any crap. Bird was a beast, ask Magic how good Bird was, Magic calls him the best on the ground player ever. As great as Jordan was he didn't bring the NBA back, Bird and Magic did that.
As a Sixers fan I got to see how good Bird was on a regular basis, he could hit any shot on the court double teamed. It's rare to find a great shooter like Bird and someone to do the dirty work like he did + the work ethic he had.

cosign kevin love. anyone seen that documentary that had on ESPN of the top high school ballers from few years back. it had brandon jennings, mike beasly, tyreke evans, kevin love etc.. and kevin love was by far the least athletic one, almost goofy in how he played. fast forward to now hes having a better career than all of them.
david lee is decent. after that the list gets weak. none are like bird tho.
