I'd give Jerry West or Kareem a shot.

i still remember when that idiot marc jackson said Dirk was better than Larry. this was years before the mavs won the title. he sat there and said DIRK was better than Bird.

so you'll understand my disgust when my warriors hired him as head coach lol. Bird >>>>>>

Magic at pg, Jordan at sg, and Bird at sf. throw in anyone u want at pf and center it probably doesnt matter with those 3 on the team

As a Sixers fan I got to see how good Bird was on a regular basis, he could hit any shot on the court double teamed. It's rare to find a great shooter like Bird and someone to do the dirty work like he did + the work ethic he had.

Did you even read my post?

Everything I said about Bird was positive!

I didnt see what you that got deleted... but there was nothing to fight about as Double H said.

We all respect Bird! period...

I wonder if we will ever have white players as good as Bird and Mullins.

The best non-black players are foreigners.

Foreigners are white arent they? There are some very good "white" players in the league:

Dirk Nowitzki
Pau Gasol
Manu Ginobli
Kevin Love (UCLA home boy)

cosign kevin love. anyone seen that documentary that had on ESPN of the top high school ballers from few years back. it had brandon jennings, mike beasly, tyreke evans, kevin love etc.. and kevin love was by far the least athletic one, almost goofy in how he played. fast forward to now hes having a better career than all of them.

david lee is decent. after that the list gets weak. none are like bird tho.

I would have loved to have heard some of the exchanges between Barkley, Miller and Bird back in the day.
