i give no credibility to hubie brown since about 3 years ago he watch matt bonner get a block and said (this always stood out in my mind) "well one thing we know, he is an excellent defender". he lost all credibility when he said matt bonner was an excellent defender! gone!

What else can Matt Bonner do besides hit a wide open arkward looking three-pointer? Seems like his days should be numbered since he can't

defend
dribble the ball
create his own shot
score a basket other than shooting a three pointer

Maybe so, but Jeff Van Gundy is more entertaining to the casual fan so that is probably why he gets the nod.

JVG is not a entertainer, he is a complainer

If you ask who casual NBA fans who they find to be more entertaining between him and Hubie Brown, then he would win every time.

Probably due to his age and the fact that he loves to break down the game and never bashes the refs

Casual viewers tend to go for style (van Gundy) over substance (Hubie Brown).

i guess i would stand with the casual fans then, i cant stand hubie or mike fratello.
i like JVG better then his old running buddy mark jackson too.

im not a JVG fan exactly but i find him entertaining, and while he gets off topic A LOT, he isnt nearly as bad as SOME people would make him out to be.
