AFAIK, a division winner has to be in the top 4, and based on your picks that's the Pacers, so swap them and the Nets.

thats kinda funny too because he has the current central division leaders the bulls dropped down to the 6 spot.

i would say this is a silly thread considering we havent even made it to the all star break.

Bulls v Heat in the ECF with the Heat advancing to play OKC again.

OKC over Spurs in the WCF.

Everything else is just noise at this point.

P.S. Don't forget I have a bet with a poster that was saying the Bulls wouldn't make the playoffs. I also picked Houston to squeek into the playoffs. I will have to dig hard for that thread by year end.

Henry, the Bulls are currently trending towards being the 2nd seed in the east and they haven't even gotten D Rose back yet.

looking at it, this has to be a typo (please tell me it is) but the OP has the hawks and bulls transposed in the standings. i mean the hawks 5-5 in their last 10 as the 6 seed, and bulls are 7-3 in their last 10 as the 3 seed.

i also find it funny he has the 18-26 philly 76ers jumping up to the 7 seed (currently out of the playoffs, of course boston will miss now with rondo gone) philly is 3-7 in their last 10, bucks are 7-3 and 6 games ahead of philly but the 76ers will leap frog them and not only take the 7 seed but make it to the ECF? not only are they going to the ECF but they are taking the defending champs who currently hold an 11.5 game lead on them in the standings to 7 games?

please puff puff pass!

He might as well take it a step further and plunk some money down for Philly to win the ECF.

Wonder what kind of Vegas Odds you would get on THAT bet?

Picking actual seedings at this point is pointless (well top 3 is OK), lets wait until March 1 at least to pick seeds and subsequent playoff matches. As it is, my east and west top 3:

East:
1) heat
2) Bulls
3) Nets

West:
1) Clippers
2) Thunder
3) Spurs

ECF: Bulls over heat in 6 games. They SHOULD have D Rose back and healthy at 100% by the time the ECF takes place. I don't care what the records are either, with Rose, the Bulls are a better team then the Heat are.
WCF: thunder or Grizzlies in 5 games (grizz as the 4 seed take out the Clippers).
Finals: thunder over Bulls in 7 games. This is the year for the Thunder to shine. They got the party door last year but were declined entry last year, this year its time to walk through that door.

Dude it's my prediction due to the celtics losing rondo. Philly has zero problems with the teams they might face in he playoffs. It's a prediction!

yeah we got that part. how ever far fetched as it might be.

no problem with the teams they might face in the playoffs? lets see you have them beating NYK, which they are currently 1-2 vs this season. atlanta they are 1-0 vs (but then atlanta has to completely flip flop with chicago and then beat them to even get to the 2nd round)

they havent even played the heat yet this year. you know the defending champion heat who happen to be 11.5 games ahead of philly in the standings.

as i said in my 1st post its kinda silly to be trying to predict anything so early in the season. then you have some amazing fortune telling abilities or something because flipping the hawks and bulls and bringing philly not only into the playoffs but making up 6 games to pass the bucks. ill give you boston dropping out but how do you know they 76ers can fend off the pistons who are a game behind them to take bostons spot. for that mater how do you know boston will drop out at all? boston and philly have a nearly identical strength of schedule and the celtics are arguably still better without rondo then the 76ers are.

i cant wait to see your PREDICTIONS for the west.

here ill make a prediction for the east
1 miami
2 NYK
3 BULLS
4 NETS
5 pacers
6 hawks
7 bucks
8 pistons

miami over detroit 4-0
knicks over bucks 4-1
bulls (with drose returning before the end of the season) over the hawks 4-2
pacers over nets 4-3

miami over pacers 4-2
bulls over knicks 4-3

miami over bulls 4-2 (d-rose isnt fully back to himself or it would be closer)

Lakers vs. Bobcats in finals. Magic Johnson becomes a ref for games 6 and 7, and helps Lakers win game 6. Jordan comes out to play in the 4th quarter of game 7 to help the Bobcats win. Magic tries to throw a towel at Jordan, but Larry Bird comes out and stops him. At the end of the game Kobe hits Jordan and Bird with the championship trophy. Magic and Kobe challenge Bird and Jordan to a two on two game in August with the loser having to a take a boat ride out in a lake with a bobcat on the boat.

It would have to be Philly and Bobcats in ECF for this to happen though.
