This is sad; reminds me of the desperation surrounding Lebron's offseason in Cleveland right before The Decision:

I hate seeing stuff like that. But that is the reality of the Lakers situation. Personally, I think Dwight wants the Clippers. It is no coincidence that Broussard's reports hits the day after Rivers is formally introduced. But the Clips don't have the cap space to sign Howard. What better way to motivate the Lakers to make a deal than by telling them you are walking?

Nets and Celtics supposedly talking about Pierce & Garnett in Brooklyn:
Sources -- Brooklyn Nets seek trade for Boston Celtics' Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce - ESPN

I doubt this happens. Even with Pierce's option gone, this seems like a lot of salary for Brooklyn to take on, and I think Boston would prefer draft picks to players like Humphries and Wallace.

Pelicans traded Noel to Philly for JRue Holliday and picks.
On the surface, it sure doesn't look good for the Sixers.

Olynyk traded by Dallas to the Celtics for two second-rounders.
I wasn't impressed with Olynyk at Gonzaga but, oh well, he was the best-available white guy for the Celts! lol

I swear to Christ this is it for me, last year I took off because of the Kwame Brown signing, but if they don't have something else on the horizon, I'm done and will be looking for a new team. I'll give them till October.

Maybe they are signing, Dwight Howard, lol.

Dwight is going to leave LA swinging in the breeze in a few weeks.

2013 is going to be a lottery season for the Lakers.

Cleveland with yet another oddball decision. They are cementing their place as one of the 5 worst run teams in the NBA.

Well, I guess I was wrong, but the original article didn't mention draft picks. Kelly Dwyer (who I usually never agree with anyway) thinks this is a bad deal for Boston, but in addition to taking on some of Brooklyn's lesser players, they get first-round picks in each of the next four drafts. It might not be enough to keep Rondo, but it's what the Celtics needed.

Wow, crazy bad fit for the Spurs. Hoops Hype has Ellis also talking to the Bulls, Nuggets and Suns. Generally you think of a player like Ellis going to a non-playoff team but I think Ellis could make the Bulls better, they need the scoring and the extra playmaking.
