Wow, I wouldn't have thought of that thinking back to some of the Celtics and Laker dynasties.

My guess without looking is that they passed Russell + 2

Do you have a list to share?

ill try to look one up.
they passed mcfail, parrish and bird
magic, kareem and someone else (dont remember who else it was) was in 3rd.
i think they have like 50-60 games left to pass the all time games played as a trio too.

these 3 have actually played together longer than bill russell played his whole career (14 seasons to 13) and have won about 125 games total less than him

Ok, I figured Kareem +2 would be up there but anything < 1993ish gets really dicey for me really fast as I didn't start following the NBA until around then.

I'm assuming these numbers are only for wins where all three logged minutes? This number seems a bit conservative otherwise. 2002-2003 was the first year they were all together. They've won at least 50 a season every year since. 50 times about 12 seasons gives a conservative number of at least 600 wins. Of course, as much as pop has rested them or they have missed games due to injury I could see how this could be the true number.

It is only games they've played in together.

Another crazy stat, this years opening day loss was only the 2nd in Tim and pops entire careers.
Tim goes tonight for the most wins for a single team in league history.

....and he get's it.

He should easily hit 1000 wins this season.

That's an insane accomplishment.

1000 wins on one team is pretty nuts! those are apparently ONLY regular season. hes got 1335 including playoffs.
parish is the #1 with 1611 total wins! at 60 wins total that would take almost 5 more seasons for tim to catch.

Parish is awesome, so not dogging him here but he tacked on at least 150 of those wins playing 10-15min a night for the Bulls as a reserve fouler. (Played 3 years for them, roughly 200 games)

It was a good deal though for him and the Bulls as the celts were rebuilding and he did contribute to a Bulls team that desperately needed some veteran floor fillers to just try to mitigate Ewing and the other elite centers often by committee.
