He's a solid backup point guard who has already peaked IMO.
He blew up in NY and was overpaid for the couple of years after.
I think it was difficult for him in Houston and LA, for a lot of reasons, but he seems to have found a home in Charlotte.
He didn't "blow up". He was thrown under the bus by the cokehead Jim Dolan and his boy toy, Carmelo. Because you know , Carmelo can't be made to look bad. Meanwhile the Knicks played better with Lin leading the team then when Cry-melo came back.
He's playing in the D-league this season and attempts to return to NBA after spending one yr overseas in China. He joins Santa Cruz Warriors and they are No. 1 now in the standing.

He's also extended the NBA's social-justice activism to Asian Americans, who seem to have been silently getting a raw deal for a long time. So good for him on both counts.

You see him coming up to the main squad? I only see it when there are injuries. Look, he had a nice run for the Knicks but he's proven to be injury prone over the years. The hype has given him a career. Also, a ring. Good for him. Carmelo isn't the only one that crapped on him. Kobe wasn't too fond of him either. Don't know what that was all about but there were definitely bad vibes attributed to him.

Its about time that Asian Americans finally have a chance to succeed in this country. Perhaps with more opportunity someone like Jeremy Lin would have a chance to got Harvard. Oh, wait.
^^Yes, his career is mainly ruined by three ball tyrants--Camelo, Harden and Kobe. After he got a ring two yrs ago, many people thought his NBA career was over. He spent a yr oversea and played for Team Beijing in China like Marbury. But he's still young, he still has dream. So he's waiting for his moment to shine again.
He suffered from injuries but he works very hard to recover. He's basically back to the NBA level now---19 pts/7 assists/3 rbs in 31 mins and his team is No. 1 in the league.
I always thought what was said on the court, stayed on the court. See for example Doncic and Harrell in the playoffs last year. Doncic wouldn't comment other than to say "no big deal." Harrell just went over before the next game, shook his hand and apologized and they both moved on.
For better or worse, I think Lin has always been willing to comment about how he is trash talked, and it is not well received by other players. Did Lin ever play against KG? Lol, I wonder how that would have gone?
