Delly 4yr. 38M Milwaukee.

Wow.

Don't think the Cavs will match it.

Save the money for JR

Again, where are the articles on the other 29 teams? My belief is there would have been negative spin spouted by the media and certain members on this board no matter what the Lakers did today. Including nothing.

Certain members here like to go on and on about the Lakers and their troubles and they like to poke their fans. meanwhile from what I can tell most the Laker fans have been pretty realistic the last couple of years. But when ONE person says something it must be blown up to be all Laker fans are morons.
lol you sound like a butt hurt lakers fan right now.

there is plenty of news out there about all the teams, if you cant handle the news, dont read the news. fact is this report is from a "voice of the team/fans" so clearly more than just this one person feels that way. if they didnt, hen she would be out of a job.

the idea that the lakers are being picked on is just silly. the lakers are only being picked on in lakers fans minds, the rest of us find it funny really.

can they really even afford to match?
that will put there up around 86-87 mil with only 9 players on contract and no lebron yet.
lebron is shooting for 30 mil, they are going to be in DEEEEEEP luxury tax

No, I wouldn't. I'm a Delly fan as well. The guy shot the ball really well (3rd point percentage) in the Regular season and then went MIA in the playoffs. You can't pay a backup PG 10M a year.

They have Mo and Kay Felder. McRae deserves a look too. Maybe the add a more dependable vet.

You sign JR with that money. You bring back RJ too.

Irving, Love, Thompson are productive and now considered priced reasonably.

This is a solid core: Lebron, Thompson, Irving, Love, JR, Shump, Mo, Jefferson, Frye

Felder, McRae, Kaun may round things out

Find a few ring chasers

Wow, hopefully that means Horford isn't re-signing there. With Whiteside likely to re-up in Miami, the big man pool is now very thin.

The big splash is keeping the pick and then selecting Ingram and they made the right move locking up Clarkson 4yr. 50M (one of the best signings thus far) for the next four years. Things look better than they did four months ago.

Ingram, Clarkson, Randall and Russell- that's a core with a star added (Maybe a Westbrook) in 17-18 could make some noise.
That squad is going to win 33+ games in the west? You mean in this upcoming season????

Most Laker fans do not think they deserve a sit down with Durant. And when I say most, I mean 99%. But because Joe Blow on Twitter thinks so, let's report about it.

This is just another example of Laker bashing. Where all the articles or talking heads about the Raptors or Wizards giving out terrible deals to guys like DeRozan or Beal? They don't get clicks, so they prefer to make the Lakers their punching bag.
Um, in fairness there have been many vocal laker fans around this forum for years predicting a bounty in free agency and a rush to play there for exactly that reason. Hell I've been bitterly called laker hater for saying what you just said.

We had posts just in the past six months about how their legacy and big market status means they're better for players.... It's a common claim.

Yep. Let the dumb teams blow their cap space for the next five years in a flurry of bad contracts. Delly is an easy replace by any number of players
