I think they coast and while they could easily win 60, I don't think they will for that reason.

Especially with what happened to GS last season at the end.
Looking at the East I see more depth this year and not as many rollover games. So with that in mind Cavs could finish under 60.

BUT I see more of identity this year though- this was a team searching for it throughout the regular season and they still won 57 games. And they coasted as well, and they played with a Mo Williams/JR Smith/Delly backcourt for 25 games.

GS will have growing pains. They will go through an identity crisis like Cleveland did last year. I'm willing to bet the farm they don't hit their win total last year and I even go as far to say they won't hit 65.

I actually like the Knicks Porzingis with a bunch of vets I think is a good mix (health is the key)
I like the Bulls too.
The Wiz should rebound.

There are a ton of potential surprise teams in the East.

I think the biggest surprise will be Boston.

They were pretty solid last year and faded In the playoffs. How many wins do you think?

Horford is important for them. He needs to park himself inside the three point line and keep up the good defense.

i think they pick up a few more wins, low 50s.
i think horford will bring a bit of stability to them, settle them down some

Agree, I think a solid veteran presence (with talent) has been their missing piece for extended success. If they can pick up another outside scorer to complement Thomas, they may be a championship contender before long.

Barring major injury, we're going to see a repeat of last years finals.

Cavs will do some coasting this season for sure. Rest Lebron in a few spots. But even with the coasting and rest, they should hit 56+ no problem. So yeah, 52 seems low.

I think the Celts would need a Durant-like talent to be anywhere close to a championship. I see them maybe winning 50 games this year but going nowhere in the playoffs. Horford is a nice upgrade but this team is devoid of any players that can scare teams or be difficult to handle in the playoffs.
