Lebron James seems to care about raising his kids, I don't know that he goes out partying, anymore at least. Of course he could tie his left shoe and there would be a story about it.

I believe Draymond Green decided to save some money by living in the east bay or San Jose or somewhere instead of getting a ridiculously expensive place in SF like some of his teammates. I respect that.

I just hear so many stories of pro athletes going out to clubs all the time, drinking and smoking, and just spending too much money and eventually going broke when the cash flow stops. I would think that a somewhat reclusive lifestyle might be more beneficial for a lot of them.
Yes. Shane Battier is Ex. A.

As night faded into the early morning hours, Miami Heat players celebrating a newly won NBA championship had their choice of South Beach hot spots.

Cameo. Club LIV. The Mynt Lounge.

Oh, and Denny's.

According to his 3:19 a.m. post on Twitter, veteran forward Shane Battier chose a Grand Slam breakfast instead of the hot lights and a pulsating beat.

Hours earlier, reporters had asked him where he might spend the evening.

"Well, tonight I'm going to -- that's a sticky question," he answered. "Tomorrow, I hope my wife cooks me a nice rib eye. I'm looking forward to my rib eye tomorrow. Tonight, we'll see."

There are websites for women interested in snagging basketball players. You can probably scroll through some of the threads there to see which players make themselves more of a target.

I don't know if being reclusive or introverted means a guy will keep more of his money. Shaq was universally acknowledged as a guy who loved to party. He also kept a keen eye on his money. Yes, it helps that he's one of league's highest earning players ever. But that didn't stop some star players from blowing their fortunes.

Going back further Magic Johnson was big on the party scene as a player. But he was very shrewd with his money and had smart people around him. He's done well for himself. It really comes down to financial disciple. One can have it and still like to party.

And the players {read about it} some people perceive as broke, are not really broke. If you think Charles Barkley and Allen Iverson are broke I have a river to sell you in the desert. I thought for certain that Charles Oakley was broke( read about it) begging for a job in the NBA with the Knicks until someone told me he has muti millions.
