Peanuts...cracker Jacks? Wonder if that was a Warriors fan fighting another Warriors fan.
Probably. I edited my above post to post another video that's a sec or 2 longer video. Looks like the fan getting beat up grabbed the arm of a woman going up the stairs & then the 2 guys behind him went at him.
If they were playing last year's Warriors it would've been a winnable game. Durant not only brings another great shooter, but a guy who drives to the basket (missing last year) and the length to defend everyone on the Cavs well, including Lebron.
Durant is just a totally different equalizer. Can shoot from almost anywhere on the floor, yet he's 6" taller than Curry. You have a guy who's basically 7' and can play the 2 and the 3. Just really unheard of, much like how Lebron is unheard of as well.
Outside of driving to the basket for lay ins, Cleveland has had a lot of trouble just finishing around the glass. TT and Love have been terrible within 3'. What you could see from the Cavs is that they had some good little runs, but couldn't sustain anything long enough to take a lead, even if the lead was 2 points. If Durant resigns, this could potentially be a league killer in the West for a while. Spurs are their biggest threat and how much gas does Pop have remaining in the tank. The Spurs can also not afford an injury to anyone on their teams, besides LA. I put the WCF game 1 loss solely on his shoulders.
I think the Cavs will get 1 game, but I'm sad that this series won't be that competitive. The other issue you have is Klay Thompson came back alive when it mattered. So even if Durant or Curry had an off night, all you need is Klay to find his shot, and he did. That Durant addition is just like video game unfair. haha
Is it just me or is Lebron a pretty bad one-on-one player in the half court? He needs a head of steam so he can blow by or get players on his shoulder (to strong once you're there).
He's great in the half court, but this is a fearsome defense that makes him work.

So that's why they won't be able to win this series.
The problem is that they don't have enough defense.

Really don't understand TT....between winning a ring, the big contract extension and hooking up with one of the ho-zillas maybe he's given up on serious basketball.
JR is not very good. This is a nightmare matchup for TT. Who can he defend? What does he bring offensively?

They can be better. They have to slow the pace and play smaller. They had more small stretches tonight and kept it competitive, but they quickly lost ground when Love and TT played together.
And the Cavs have to find rest for Lebron. He was clearly out of gas in the 3rd.
This was another golden opportunity for the Cavs with Draymond in foul trouble and the Warriors turning the ball over. They played awful defense again. They have not created good defensive habits, and you see the results every possession.
The Warriors of last year could beat this year's Cavs. In fact the Dubs had a great chance last year if it weren't for a combination of factors that ultimately did them in (injuries to Iggy and Curry, suspension of Green, careless play and turnovers especially in game 7).
Clearly, this year's Cavs are nothing like last year's even.
In the NBA, establishing a strong presence early in a playoff series is vital to any team’s success. That’s because according to recent history, it’s incredibly hard to battle back when you’re in a hole.
NBA teams are 18-262 all-time after trailing 2-0 in a best-of-seven series. Only four of 55 squads have prevailed since 2009 when in that spot – the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2012 Western Conference finals, the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the 2013 playoffs, the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the 2016 playoffs and of course the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Finals.

Great relative to who? His footwork, ball handling and post work just don't look to be on the same level as Jordan or Kobe. Look at every scoring possession for Lebron - my guess is that 20 of his 29 points were scored with a head of steam coming down the court.

Thought that he was either attacking a Cav while they were exiting or a lady Security or a vendor. I'll take another look. Thanks!
