He's barely a HOFer to me. I hate the basketball HOF process...
At his best as a #1, he was never Kevin Garnett. He was good but was never great as a #1...
As the third wheel in Miami, he was good and more suited to that role, but besides a moment here or there, he was a disappearing act in the postseason. He was basically Kevin Love. Is that enough to be a Famer?
Bosh's greatest achievement was that he made the right choice in joining the Heat and got two rings out of it. He seemed to be matured and playing the best ball of his career post-Lebron, but in those two years he only played 59% of the games available. Not his fault, but not a large enough sampling to solidify a Hall of Fame career...
Anyway, we all know he'll get in. The BHOF is notorious for its very inviting candidacy. I hope Bosh gets well and is able to live a long life outside of the NBA...
Good. As a Chris Bosh fan, I never want to see him on the basketball court again. It's going to sound strange, but we never really got to see the player he could have been. His last season in Toronto, he averaged 25/11 with the third highest PER in the league. One could argue that he was beginning to peak, and then sublimated himself in Miami. In those Heat finals, he was Lebron's best teammate, not Wade.
