Rockets look good so far.

It seems Warriors are really missing Andre’s defensive presence so far

Warriors now doing to Houston what was done to them in first period, upping the defensive intensity and slowly making a chip at that lead. They are moving the ball smoother now.

Not exactly a legendary achievement, plus I think Boston are happy to give LeBron these big games because it prevents Cleveland's role-players from building confidence.
If you double LeBron regularly (as you would Michael Jordan) he wouldn't be dominating like this.
Is your MCM Simmons supposed to dominate the East?

LeBron has dominated the entire NBA for a full decade. This is a different NBA. Teams are not winning 6 championships in 8 years anymore. Players are not winning 6 championships in 8 years anymore. So "domination" doesn't mean the same thing today that it meant 20 years ago, in an NBA that was slower and frankly, looks antiquated today. The style of play was wonderful for that era but obviously hasn't aged well and was being phased out by the mid-00s....

So when people use Michael Jordan/the Bulls as a standard for domination, sure, it's "a" standard, but not "the" standard. This is where context has to be provided about the shifts in eras. The Golden State Warriors have two seasons that can legitimately be called the greatest single-season basketball team ever. They will not come close to a 6 win in 8 seasons run. The NBA today does not allow for that kind of domination; however, does this mean they haven't been a dominant team? They are the most dominant team in basketball four years in a row. You can't measure their dominance the way you'd measure the Jordan Bulls, the Showtime Lakers, etc...

So back to Lebron, he's the most dominant individual since Jordan and there's only three or four guys ever you could say have held this level of domination. He's dominated the entire League. You guys like to try to diminish his accomplishments, but he's a Top 4 player ever, 15 years in, and a Top 4 most dominant player ever. There is not logical argument to be formed to the contrary...

What bores me about the ECF, is that there no comebacks, and the games aren't close, during the games. I could see if it's close and a team pulls away late, but that doesn't even happen. 6 games and no 4thQ drama. No road wins either.
The last two games in Cleveland have been close, and yesterday in particular was a good game to watch...

The 2008 Celtics lost every road game until the ECF and still went on to win it all. Not a good barometer of how exciting teams are, especially if one of the East teams win the whole thing...

Umm, maybe not.

The Rockets are only down by 7 points. The Dubs needed to be up by at least 20 points to have some margin of safety.

They expended a lot of energy constantly playing catch up to the Rockets, and Harden isn't giving up and he's going to continue to attack the basket and shoot 3's.

And as we have seen last two games, the Dubs cannot get it done on very close games, and this is exactly shaping up to be yet another close finish!

Cp3 would have stopped the 3rd quarter bleeding some. Harden ran out of gas

Surprise, two game 7's!

Just one game apiece standing between Golden State vs Cleveland, part 4!
