The MLB and NFL (so far) have managed to pull off seasons. And the players are among the lowest risk of any adults to getting seriously ill. I think we have had enough of the shutdown mentality.
Agreed! In my state of PA, these high school kids got their seasons shut down because they were contracting. Their athletes that is. Shutdown until the 4th of Jan. High school is far from the pros but gathering in any form isn't good. The colleges in PA are case by case but there are cases popping up these past few weeks. Plus there is a new, more contagious strain out there. NBA teams traveling which will not help things. As much as I am enjoying the games, I will have to agree with you.
I saw that. Like I said they need to vaccinate the athletes. If members of congress are a priority so are pro athletes.
No, they're not. Congress is essential because they're necessary to keep the government, and therefore the country, functional. Entertainers should be far down the list with the general population, after all frontline/essential workers have been vaccinated.

Fair point- SOMEONE has to look out for the wealthy!!!!!!

People working in retail and grocery are a higher priority than pro athletes. Your average American does not have access to daily COVID testing like pro athletes do.
