I don't understand why PP did what he did but it is true to his brand. He was always a guy that got under the opponents skin. I hated him as a knicks fan but respected his game. I don't understand why he would tarnish his brand.

Some of the party is on youtube. A bunch of his buddies and him are drinking and playing carts. And beautiful women walking around in bikinis. Seems like no big deal.

Seems like the only person who should be mad is Dr. Fauci because no one was masked up.

I think ESPN were looking to part with him and just found their excuse.

I first heard a news flash that he was fired for a video he did live with strippers. Like it was an orgy or something. I agree this was something ESPN wanted to do before the video came out.

I don't think he was that great on ESPN. No big loss.

From what I read ESPN was already starting to phase him out a bit, so if that was indeed the case I agree with OB & Natural that this was probably a convenient excuse for ESPN to let him go permanently.

Paul Pierce gave ESPN a reason to part ways with him. He left on his terms, not ESPN's terms. I don't think he's dumb, he works for a company owned by Disney, he knows what video/audio footage he can and can not put out in the universe. Most of us can only fantasize about quitting our job in epic fashion. I was not a big fan of Paul as an analyst, but seeing his Instagram Live video made me laugh. It just screams, "Yeah, I think today is going to be my last day at work."

Yeah quite frankly he sucked as an analyst in my opinion. TV is not his calling.
