Hi,

My job is relocating me to Baton Rouge. I was just wondering if someone could tell me where the best place to live is. I am looking on Apartments.com etc and all of the apartment complexes seem to be around LSU. I will be working near Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport on Harding boulevard and was wondering about the traffic situation etc. I am 40 years old and single so I have no preference about a family situation or anything like that.

Thank you so much for any help or advice!

Really, if I had the chance to work there, and move, I would move to the west side of the river. Traffic in most places is bad in Baton Rouge.

The west side can be a real hassle when the bridge traffic is screwed up , which is fairly often .

Yeah, I guess you're right. I only have to fight the East side.

10 miles from home = 45 minute drive
