As someone who passes through BR on I-12 to Mississippi pretty often, is there any way around the city that wouldn't take too much time? It seems that I'm always stuck creeping at 10mph on the freeway.

Oh , well . Not much you can do to avoid I 12 . If you can avoid peak traffic times it's usually ok .

I have to disagree. I have been to NO many many times and the people there honk all the time, shoot birds at each other and don't use signals either! Also, every person I know complains that "their" city has the worst drivers and I hate hearing it-every place on earth has good and bad drivers.

I fully agree. NO traffic is much more aggressive. BR traffic is more congested. IMO anyway.

I don't relish driving in either, but this is nothing compared to DC or Chicago area traffic.
