We may be relocating this summer. We are looking at Zachary, LA specifically Copper Hills. Are there other areas we should be looking at? We will be visiting with a realtor in about a month but would like to do a little more research before then. We are looking right around $500k. Thanks!

Zachary is a smaller town outside the Baton Rouge metro area that has really sprung up. They are doing a lot of new construction in their schools. Zachary puts you between the woods and the city

Zachary has the #1 school district in the state 6 years running. If you are going to be working in BR the drive is not bad unless you are going to south BR. The subdivision you are looking in is Copper Mills. It is the one of the best in Zachary.
