What (if any) parts of the city will flood? LSU? River Rd? Downtown?

I'm betting on none, but if any part of Baton Rouge flooded as a result of levee failure/overtopping, it would include areas south of LSU that aren't on the bluffs (think Tigerland, Brightside, Burbank), and portions of downtown closer to the river, as well as portions of Old South Baton Rouge.

Baring some unforeseen event, I think we will be fine too. I read in the advocate this morning that the levees can take a crest as high as 52 feet and as low 41 (iirc) in some areas. I think the expected crest is so to be 43 and some things are underway to mitigate the flooding should their be any in the lower spots. With that being said, you honestly never really know until it happens. It's best to assume the worst and hope for the best in these kinds of situations, but it's in my estimation, that we will be okay.

I wouldn't think so, since most of is elevated as it crosses the Atchafalaya basin.
