All of you folks that complained about the transportation system in B.R. can complain no more . Once again , the powers to be have decided to throw money at a problem while keeping the same incompetent people in charge .

I agree that our public transportation system needed an overhaul + alot more money.

The part that was silly is how they went about conducting the vote.

People living within the city limits of Baton Rouge and Baker are going to be paying for this entire thing. Now, the "city"--as in the urban area that will be permeated with bus routes--is not all within the city limits. Therefore, alot of people on the periphery will have full access to the improved bus system at no cost, other than their tiny bus fare.

Do you REALLY think the present board is going to step down , and a new and improved board will be appointed ? What is this " new criteria " ? Who is on the " Blue Ribbon Commission " ? All you did was repeat a bunch of rhetoric written by a PR person .
