I know some gays in Central. One is a teacher in a Central school. No problems reported.

Default zachary vs. central

Hi,

Zachary has the #1 school district in the state, and has a number of gay couples. As a generalization, Central is definitely more "country" in attitude. For example, the local newspaper posts pictures of kids with their first dead deer....Nothing wrong with it if that is what you are into, but shows the general type of personality that lives in the area is definitley the hunter, big truck driving type.

Neither is a bad choice as far as housing and schools, but Zachary is modernizing much faster than Central. I moved to Zachary 6 years ago to get away from Baton Rouge and do not regret it. As far as property values increasing, Zachary should have the edge their too...
