I highly recommend Gino's on Bennington Ave. It's an excellent authentic southern Italian restaurant with extra marks for romantic situations. Even if you aren't a huge Italian cuisine fan, there are other dishes that are less traditional (stereotypically Italian) like good steaks, fish, etc. The owner is first-generation Sicilian and his mother still does the cooking. It's been around for a long time in BR. Not cheap, but about as good and authentic Italian/romantic you will find anywhere. Shaquille O'Neal used to have Gino's food shipped to him when he went pro (maybe still does, I have no idea). It's probably my favorite restaurant anywhere.

The website kinda sucks btw.
