Has anyone traveled from Louisiana on Megabus?? If so whats your take??

I haven't taken it from Louisiana but I have taken it in other states. They have very nice double decker buses that are really comfortable and you can sometimes get ridiculously low prices depending on the time you buy.

After several times using the service it has always been a good experience. Hope this helps.

Megabus is a division of Coach USA, the largest motor coach operator in the USA.

I have been riding Megabus for the past five years or so since they started service out of Chicago. In general, after the first few months when they were working out the kinks, the service has been pretty good.

The earlier you book, in general, the better the price.

You need to understand where the bus stops are in the town you are leaving and the town where you are going. In general, they DO NOT use bus terminals.

Unlike Greyhound, the bus drivers generally "lay down the rules" at the beginning of the trip and there are generally few problems.
