I live in Ascension Parish and am looking for somewhere to drop off recycle material. Not wanting to make money just drop it off. I work in Baton Rouge so can drop off anywhere in BR as well. Any suggestions?

Here's a link to some locations. Every so often on a Saturday morning, I used to bring my recyclables to a temporarily set up recycle center. It was in the parking lot of an old car dealership off of Florida if I remember correctly. The set up was basically a couple recycle trucks with workers standing outside. You pull up and they come to you to take whatever you're recycling, and throw it in truck. They weren't there every Saturday but maybe once a month. I'm not sure if that program is still around and wish I could remember more details about it. Good luck
