If a day spa opened in the City of Baker and promoted within a five mile radius which includes Zachary, Brownsfield, Scotland/Southern University/ BR Metro Airport etc. providing luxury spa services such as facials, body treatments etc. at an affordable price would you visit? Why or why not? Do you think the business would thrive?

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Default Can you explain your reasoning? Possibly offer a suggestion?

Can you explain your reasoning behind your answer? How about offering a suggestion as to what you feel would be a good area to open a day spa? I feel as if there are so many in Baton Rouge already and they are all competing for the same clientele....which in turn no one really maximize their profit to full potential.

Also, if you can share this with friends/family I would appreciate it. I would love to get other opinions.

Thanks

I just feel like Baker isn't the right fit for that business . Zachary possibly . Different demographics .

It's not a gut feeling, it's demographics. Zachary has a higher average income level who would be much more likely to spend money at a day spa than people in Baker and Scotlandville.

I agree, you have to look at the income statistics. Zachary has higher income than Baker does. I think that Zachary, Central, South Baton Rouge you are fine on income statistics. There is a website that you can ask how much people spend on beer/wine/etc in different areas and I cannot for the life of me find it. If I find it I will let you know.
