I was on the Weinerschnitzel website the other day and apparently there is a location in Baton Rouge?!?! Weinerschnitzel is kinda big in SoCal and Texas, but there is one totally random location (the only one in Louisiana) near LSU.

Anyone know what the story with this is? Has the location been there long?

Just curious is Weinerschnitzel is branching out.

That Weinerschnitzel has been there a LONG time. It's one of the old style ones.

Don't know what the deal is, it has been there is long as I can remember. I've been in B.R. since I was young and started to notice it partying out in the LSU area. I still go by there when I am in the area working. I think it would be cool if there were more here.

California use to be full of those old-style "triangle" looking Weinerschnitzels. They've all been torn down though... I haven't seen one that looks like that in a really long time.

There used to be a second one out on Airline Highway on the right just a little north of Old Hammond. There's a car rental place in there now, but it was a Weinerschnitzel up into the mid nineties IIRC, AND the building is still that triangular shape. I haven't been by that one on Highland in a very long time, but I think it has that Triangular shape too.
