WalMart or Associated Food Stores like Leblanc's, Calandro's, Matherne's (for some things and Sure Fine products, bread, canned goods, etc).

Default Less expensive stores

Target
Wal-Mart
Sam's
Albertsons (for their meat - groceries are easily 50-100% more than Target)

Default cheapest bread

There is a wholesale bread/bakery store on O'Neal lane near Old Hammond Hwy. I don't know the specific address but they have full loaves of bread for 2 for $1 on large round top Sun brand bread. They also sell powdered donuts for 50 cents per bag and generic Twinkie type snacks, etc for 10 cents each. Not all of their items are priced better than other stores but they have a lot of bargains.
